The New York Post dropped a bombshell suggesting that Wade made multiple late-night visits to Willis’ home in 2021, way before they claim their relationship blossomed in 2022. If true, this could spell trouble for Fulton County’s District Attorney and her special prosecutor as they face scrutiny over their involvement in prosecuting former President Trump.
The court filing by Trump’s lawyers, as reported by the Western Journal, revealed a jaw-dropping analysis of over 2,000 phone calls and nearly 12,000 text messages exchanged between Willis and Wade in 2021. The majority of these communications happened during the late hours of the night and in the wee hours of the morning. What’s more damning is the disclosure of at least 35 instances where Wade’s phone was connected near Willis’ condo, indicating possible in-person visits rather than mere coincidental tower connections.
Despite Willis and Wade’s claims that their relationship only began post-Wade’s appointment as a special prosecutor, the damning phone records paint a different picture. Their attempts to refute accusations of impropriety in hiring Wade and financial benefits seem feeble in the face of this evidence. It’s hard to believe their narrative when data suggests otherwise.
Willis’ dismissal of the phone records as irrelevant is a weak defense considering the mounting evidence against them. The former friend’s testimony and the judge’s stance on even a hint of impropriety potentially leading to disqualifications further muddy the waters for the embattled duo. If found guilty of perjury, the repercussions could extend beyond professional sanctions to criminal prosecution, escalating the already heated legal battle.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that Willis and Wade have some serious explaining to do. It’s one thing to play the legal game, but when evidence stacks up against you, it’s a whole different ball game.
