Dave Portnoy Strikes Back: Exposes WaPo’s Dishonest Attack Piece

Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, found himself at the center of controversy when The Washington Post attempted to smear him and pressure pizza shops involved in a festival he organized. The Post sent reporters to accuse these businesses of supporting sexual misconduct, hoping to coerce them into withdrawing from the event. However, Portnoy caught wind of their plans and confronted one of the reporters, exposing her lies. He posted the 11-minute confrontation on Twitter for all to see.

It’s clear that The Washington Post’s hit piece was nothing more than a desperate attempt to silence Portnoy and his supporters. This is a classic example of far-left activism disguised as journalism. Rather than reporting on real news, the Post resorted to intimidation tactics, trying to harm businesses by attacking their reputations. It’s disgraceful and shows just how low some media outlets will sink to push their agenda.

In response to the hit piece, Portnoy called out the Post for its embarrassing choice of focus. With countless important issues facing our country, they chose to dedicate an entire investigative team to a pizza festival. This speaks volumes about the Post’s priorities and explains why they are losing subscribers left and right. Their biased and misleading reporting has become a laughingstock.

It’s worth noting that Portnoy isn’t even a Republican. He identifies as fairly liberal, but he’s unafraid to speak his mind on topics that the left deems unacceptable. This is precisely why the Post targeted him. They tried to destroy his reputation and silence his opinions. Fortunately, Portnoy stood his ground, and in the end, it was the Post that ended up looking foolish.
