DEI Policies Echo Marxist Tactics, Compromise Airline Safety

The unfortunate reality for many in Marxist regimes is that those leading the charge often leave the very people they swore to protect in the lurch, suffering from deeper poverty, exploitation, and rampant oppression. This same grim trend has emerged in the modern obsession with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies unveiled across the Western world. Like a bad rerun of an awful show, DEI policies rest on the same ideological foundation as their Marxist predecessors, just with a shiny new name.

A recent incident involving Endeavor Air exemplifies this unfortunate intersection of ideology and operational decisions, raising eyebrows and concerns about prioritizing all-female flight crews over merit. On a day marred by an airplane crash—a harrowing event where a Delta Connection flight lost a wing and rolled upside down while landing in Canada—Endeavor Air seemed more concerned with showcasing its commitment to DEI than ensuring crew competence.

Social media account “End Wokeness,” boasting over 3.5 million followers, took to the platform X to highlight Endeavor Air’s misguided priorities based on older tweets. One post from 2017 featured a photo of a pilot crew that appeared exclusively female, paired with a caption about their aim to deliver more “unmanned” flights. Ironically, the very day of the crash, Delta’s executive vice president stated the airline would not reconsider its commitment to DEI, raising the question: has the focus on identity over capability compromised safety?

Though there is no direct evidence linking DEI policies to the plane crash, it’s hard not to suspect that an obsession with making headlines and virtue signaling in the hiring process might create safer environments for poorly qualified candidates, leading to calamities. Pilots have already reached out to “End Wokeness” to voice their concerns, suggesting that the practice of prioritizing select individuals based on their chromosomes could undermine the aviation industry.

In jest, better qualifications do go a long way in the cockpit. But as long as airlines are more concerned with checking boxes on a DEI checklist than with hiring skilled professionals, skepticism takes root. It’s a real dilemma when a woman hired on merit faces public doubt just because the organization made a splash about diversity. Nevertheless, the distinction between celebrating female pilots and actively prioritizing them is slim at best, especially if their hiring was influenced by DEI policies.

The irony doesn’t stop there; the DEI agenda echoes Marxist manipulation tactics, rebranding class struggles into gender and race struggles, thereby igniting divisive tribalism always seeking grievances. Liberal Democrats appear more interested in elevating power dynamics based on skin color or gender than in genuinely assessing qualification. Historical appointments—like those of Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel—show that Democrats resist merit-based appointments even when nominees have solid backgrounds.

As long as airlines continue to embrace DEI policies that raise more questions than they answer, the parallels with Marxist ideology remain impossible to ignore. The case of Endeavor Air serves as a cautionary tale demonstrating that when political correctness interferes with competence, everyone pays the price—especially the capable women who deserve their places but find reputations sullied under the weight of misguided policies. The call for a return to meritocracy is loud and clear as long as DEI continues to drive hiring practices and operational decisions.
