Al Green for his disruptive behavior, others still felt the urge to sing “We Shall Overcome,” as though they were the moral paragons of a bygone era. This cringe-worthy moment serves as an embarrassing reflection of their desperate need to make a statement, only to drown their message in a sea of juvenile antics. Instead of winning over the American public, they are simply solidifying their image as a party that has lost the plot entirely.
All these shenanigans paint a clear picture of why Democrats continue to struggle in the eyes of the electorate. Their extreme behavior, paired with policies that veer dangerously into radical territory, confirms that they are out of touch with mainstream America.
