Democrats Cry Impeachment Over Trump’s Iran Strike But Ignore Their Own Past Actions

Democrats are at it again, screaming “impeachment” like it’s a casual conversation starter instead of a serious charge. Their latest target? President Trump’s decisive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. A bold move by Trump to protect American interests, yet Democrats want to paint it as a constitutional crisis. But there’s a giant elephant in the room that liberals conveniently choose to ignore—a hefty dose of hypocrisy from their side.

Look back a few years, and you’ll see Democrats sitting pretty silent when Obama flexed his military powers in Libya, or when Biden launched strikes in Syria. Both instances had just a whisper of congressional approval, yet impeachment was not on the table then. Now with Trump behind the reins, suddenly they’re constitutional experts, frantically waving their papers claiming war power violations. If it were a performance, it’d be comical.

The calls from the left are almost hilarious in their inconsistency. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Chris Van Hollen are at the forefront, shouting about constitutional violations. Yet, during Obama’s airstrikes, their outcries were as hard to find as a needle in a haystack. Trump, unlike his recent predecessors, even had the courtesy to notify congressional leaders post-action. Can we talk about priorities? Democrats seem more interested in making headlines than in our national security.

The clash isn’t about legality; it’s a stark political game. They’re clutching at straws, trying to paint Trump as a reckless warmonger, while sidelining their history of similar actions backed by Democratic presidents. Trump’s decisive action sent a message to Iran, a calculated strike that didn’t even require ground troops. Meanwhile, Democrats are lost in a loop of double standards.

In an ideal world, Democrats would focus on the real issues facing America—border security, economic growth, and restoring order—rather than engaging in political theater over Trump’s every move. But expecting rationality seems a far cry from reality. Isn’t it time to ask: when will Democrats put America first instead of their impeachment fantasies?
