Democrats have chosen to be the protectors of society’s worst. They’ve shown their true colors by standing behind criminals and gang members, all in the name of some twisted form of justice. When will they wake up and realize that they are shielding monsters from the consequences of their own actions?
Take Joel Armando Mejia-Benitez, an MS-13 gang member, as a prime example. This isn’t some misguided soul seeking a better life; this is a violent criminal wanted back in El Salvador for gun-related charges. After being deported almost two decades ago, he slithered back into America, flaunting his gang loyalty with tattoos for everyone, and yet not a single liberal seems to see an issue with it. The same Democrats who cry for open borders and leniency, even as a threat like Mejia-Benitez roams our streets, are the same ones who jump at any chance to bash our law enforcement for doing their jobs.

How long will it take for the liberal elite to realize that these gang-affiliated “Maryland Men” are a threat to the safety of every American family? While bleeding-heart progressives attempt to storm ICE facilities armed with nothing but misguided outrage, real criminals are taking advantage of their naivety. These politicians might as well roll out the red carpet for thugs and criminals at our borders.
It doesn’t stop there. Not only do these enablers defend Mejia-Benitez, they still find excuses to criticize Trump’s border policies, which have proven time and time again to be effective. He has worked tirelessly to curb illegal immigration with common sense and action, not empty promises. What did the Democrats do in response? They spit on it and continue to pander to their radical base, ignoring this blatant threat.
When will they own up to their lunacy? Instead of defending our country’s interests, they waste time on ludicrous stunts, giving them the illusion of standing up for something meaningful. How many more dangerous criminals do we need prowling our streets before the left abandons its disastrous agenda? Mejia-Benitez is not a man who fell through the cracks— he’s a reminder of the Democrats’ failed policies.
