In what world is it acceptable for Democrats to shout “no” in response to a call for prayer after a prominent conservative figure is gunned down? The tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University has exposed the left’s true colors. They wail about “political violence,” yet when it’s a conservative under attack, they can’t even muster the decency to offer a public prayer. Hypocrisy, thy name is the Democratic Party.
This was on full display in the House of Representatives. A simple request for an aloud prayer in Charlie Kirk’s memory was met with groans and shouts of disapproval from the Democrats. Evidently, their disdain for Kirk’s conservative principles runs so deep that even a moment of unity through prayer is too much to ask. This, from the same people who demand “thoughts and prayers” when it suits their political agenda.

But the left’s hypocrisy doesn’t stop there. They condemn political violence, yet remain eerily silent when it targets those they oppose. Instead of condemning the act, they label victims like Kirk as “polarizing” to justify their lack of empathy. Meanwhile, they continue to smear conservatives as threats to democracy, adding fuel to the fire of division.
Let’s not pretend anymore. The left’s response, or lack thereof, to Kirk’s murder speaks volumes about their priorities. For all their talk of compassion and justice, their actions reveal an utter disregard for human life if it doesn’t align with their political ideology.
What we’ll see now is a continuation of this divisive hypocrisy unless America wakes up. Will the left ever genuinely address political violence, or is it just lip service until the next tragic event? America deserves to know.
