Washington Democrats just can’t let go of their Trump obsession. Now, they’re scrambling to pass a new bill that’s nothing more than political theater—an act designed to cripple Donald Trump’s fight for justice against the IRS. Why? Because he dared to stand up after his private tax returns were leaked by a government contractor who handed them over to the left-wing media.
Here’s what’s really going on: Trump is suing the IRS and Treasury for $10 billion after a rogue employee busted all ethical boundaries, stealing and leaking Trump’s confidential financial records. The Democrats would rather Americans forget about the actual crime committed—actual theft of private documents—than talk about government accountability.

Instead, the Democratic Party’s top brass wants to punish the victim. Their latest scheme is called the Stop Presidential Embezzlement Act. This nonsense would snatch away every penny Trump might win in court by hitting him—plus any president or congress member—with a 100% tax on any payout from lawsuits against the government. Apparently, in Democrat-land, holding bureaucrats accountable is only allowed if the right people get hurt.
Chuck Schumer, Ron Wyden, and their fellow elites are desperate to paint Trump as some kind of criminal for daring to demand justice. They act like he’s trying to line his pockets, ignoring the obvious truth: if our leaders can’t even protect their own private tax data, what hope is there for the rest of us? Meanwhile, the actual leaker—a convicted criminal—gets a slap on the wrist, and the media that published the stolen info gets a pat on the back from the left.
Of course, this bill has no real chance. The Democrats know they can’t get enough votes, and President Trump would never sign away Americans’ rights to challenge government wrongdoing. That’s not what this is about. It’s just another headline grab, another desperate attempt to smear a man who’s been fighting corruption since day one.
The Democrats have shown their true colors once again: they’ll weaponize the law for themselves but run for cover when real accountability is on the table. Is it any wonder Americans are tired of this two-faced, anti-American circus?
