The left has lost its mind — again. While President Trump’s bold moves to crush deadly drug cartels in the Caribbean are saving American lives, the Democrats are busy holding their breath and demanding endless hearings. Their latest target? The military strikes authorized by Trump have obliterated narco-terrorist boats, cutting off the flow of poison heading toward our shores. Instead of applauding, some swamp-dwellers in Congress want to slam the brakes on progress, citing “legality” and “transparency” as their excuses to slow down America’s fight against cartels.
Make no mistake, the cartels are enemies of the United States. Tren de Aragua, Cartel de los Soles — these aren’t petty criminals; they are terrorist organizations that threaten our homeland security daily. The Trump administration rightly recognized this and gave the green light to a military campaign that has already eliminated multiple enemy vessels. Over 30 narco-terrorists have been taken off the ocean, likely saving tens of thousands of American lives from drugs flooding our streets. Instead of thanking Trump, the Democrats want to hold hearings over the “legality” of protecting the American people.
I joined @KING5Seattle to talk about the concerning strikes on boats in the Caribbean. The President of the United States simply deciding that there's somebody that he wants to kill, and killing them without legal justification, is an extraordinary expansion of power and is very… pic.twitter.com/eIhonVli1w

And here comes the usual liberal hypocrisy. A Democrat congressman whines about a Southcom commander’s early retirement and calls for emergency hearings — as if fighting narco-terrorists is a scandal. They fret over “unanswered questions” when the question they refuse to answer is why they haven’t done a darn thing to combat this threat. It’s always the same playbook: weaponize “oversight” to delay, distract, and derail any strong action that defends America’s interests. Meanwhile, Democrats cozy up to socialist regimes in Latin America that are known to harbor these cartels.
Even some on the right are wobbling, concerned about the “legality” of Trump’s strikes without a declared war. Since when did American leadership require the permission of foreign powers or the slow grind of political correctness to take out enemies who kill Americans? The United States is under assault from drug traffickers who bring violence and death to our communities. The Commander-in-Chief bears the responsibility to do what it takes to stop them — now, not after endless hearings that only serve to embolden our enemies.
President Trump’s approach is tough, direct, and effective. It’s a blueprint for how America must protect its borders and its citizens — with strength, not weakness. The enemies of freedom will not respect peace talks or bipartisan committees. They answer only to force. So next time a narco-terrorist boat lights up in the Caribbean, remember this: the left would rather hold a hearing than hold the line. Which side are you on?
