The modern Democratic Party has officially transformed into a sad spectacle filled with humorless tyrants and self-righteous pro-establishment busybodies. This sorry state of affairs has even driven fringe Republicans to break out the mockery against their Democratic peers, who now seem defined by their alarming ability to spin tales of terror at every turn.
During a recent Senate hearing for Kash Patel, the Trump-nominated FBI director, Senator Thom Tillis from North Carolina decided to inject a bit of levity into the proceedings. In a stroke of genius, Tillis crafted a bingo card festooned with phrases he anticipated hearing from the Democrats. The card was meant to highlight the predictable theatrics likely to unfold, an idea that is both hilarious and entirely appropriate considering the dwindling respect for seriousness among the Democrats.
Tillis humorously laid out his bingo expectations on social media, inviting Democrats to join in the fun. Although some may see his antics as childish, it’s hard not to appreciate the absurdity of the situation. After all, as Tillis pointed out, the bingo card was merely a mirror reflecting the preordained, scripted drivel typically slung from their side of the aisle. He’d already marked off a few squares before the hearing had even really gotten started.
Republican Senator Mike Lee from Utah was quick to back Tillis’s clever approach, encouraging others to play along as the Democrats unfolded their well-rehearsed platitudes. Among the phrases cluttering the bingo card were gems like “Pardons” and “QAnon,” reinforcing the notion that Democrats often resort to the same tired playbook in virtually every debate. When the game involves engaging with the likes of Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, it’s small wonder why a bingo card quickly becomes more entertaining than the stark reality of their concepts.

Warren, humorously known as “Pocahontas,” indulged in a verbal scramble against Kash Patel, while Sanders escalated the absurdity by yelling about baby clothes. The fact that a Senate committee turned into a playground for ideological skirmishes was not lost on observers, who now find themselves in a world where the Democratic Party is losing touch with anything resembling common sense.
Polling data confirms the trend: American voters have recognized the Democratic leadership’s descent into farce, with unfavorable ratings reaching all-time highs. Thom Tillis’s ability to shine a light on the ridiculousness while maintaining a sense of humor is welcome in the Senate. The implosion of the Democrats into a collection of smug authoritarians continues unabated, giving every reason to believe that more lighthearted approaches like Tillis’ bingo card should become the norm.
