Two radical left-wing Democratic members of the House had the audacity to vote against a bill that would keep terrorists from entering the U.S. Can you believe it? Democratic Reps. Cori Bush of Missouri and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, who seem to have a real problem with supporting our ally Israel, were the only two legislators to vote against the “No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act.” Seriously, who in their right mind would vote against a bill that aims to protect American citizens from dangerous terrorists?
The bill, introduced by Republican Pennsylvania Rep. Tom McClintock, is pretty straightforward. It simply states that any alien who has been involved in terrorist activities against Israel initiated by Hamas should not be allowed into our country. Seems like common sense to most people, but I guess Bush and Tlaib are just too blinded by their anti-Israel agenda to see that.

It’s not surprising that Tlaib voted against the bill, considering her well-known anti-Israel rhetoric. In fact, her own Democratic colleagues have even had to censure her because of it. She and Bush have both called Israel an “apartheid state” and have even suggested that Israel is committing genocide. These are absolutely outrageous claims that have no basis in reality. It’s clear that they are more interested in pushing their radical ideology than in supporting our ally and protecting American citizens.
And let’s not forget about Bush. She’s currently under federal investigation for alleged misuse of federal security funds. Yet, she still has the audacity to claim that the Israeli military is engaging in “ethnic cleansing” against Palestinians. That’s just false and inflammatory rhetoric that has no place in our political discourse. It’s time for Bush to be held accountable for her actions and for her to stop spreading lies about our ally.
It’s a relief to know that the bill overwhelmingly passed the House with a vote of 422-2-1. It’s clear that the majority of our lawmakers understand the importance of keeping terrorists out of our country. And shame on Rep. Della Ramirez of Illinois for voting “present” instead of taking a stand against terrorism. It’s disappointing to see that there are still Democrats who refuse to prioritize the safety and security of the American people.
In the end, it’s not surprising that Bush and Tlaib refused to comment on their shameful vote. They know they can’t defend their radical views and their disregard for the safety of American citizens. It’s time for voters to wake up and see these radical left-wing Democrats for who they really are – extremists who are more interested in pushing their destructive agenda than in protecting our country and our allies.
