Dems Caught Red-Handed: Using Auto-Voter Systems to Register Non-Citizens!

Democrats are using automatic voter registration (AVR) methods to sign up non-citizens to vote in municipal and mayoral races. This is a very clever way to get people to vote. Even though they say this supports inclusion and gives a voice to people who help their communities but aren't full citizens, it is clear that they are putting their own political interests ahead of the integrity of the democratic process.

Massachusetts is one state where this kind of abuse is happening. As the state gets ready for nearly 200,000 illegal immigrants to apply for driver's licenses, the new license access rule could cost up to $28 million to put into place. This law, called the "Work and Family Mobility Act," lets foreigners without legal standing, or "illegal aliens," get driver's licenses. Former Governor Charlie Baker was worried that the list wouldn't be able to check foreign papers, so he vetoed the bill. But the present governor, Healey, doesn't seem to mind spending $28 million of public money to put into place a law that helps people who aren't citizens.

One of the most important parts of the Democrats' plan is putting AVR devices in place. When eligible voters connect with certain state organizations, like the department of motor vehicles, these tools automatically add them to the list of voters. AVR is used in different ways in different states. For Medicaid applications, some states, like Colorado and New Mexico, use a "back-end opt-out" system. This means that registering to vote is not a direct part of the Medicaid application process. Instead, qualified voters in the home get a letter a few weeks later telling them that they are about to register. If they don't answer the message, they are automatically added to the voting rolls.

Critics of AVR say that this "back-end opt-out" method could make it easier for non-citizens to get registered. By splitting the process of registering to vote from the first application for Medicaid, the system may sign up people who are not citizens and don't have the right to vote. It is clear that Democrats are willing to risk the fairness of our democracy process in order to win political points and get more power for themselves.

Giving non-citizens the right to vote in local and city races would be a bad idea for our country. Promoting inclusiveness is important, but it shouldn't hurt the fairness of our elections. Policymakers need to come up with thorough ways to check that only people who are allowed to vote are taking part in the political process. It is up to our chosen leaders to put the legitimacy of the political process ahead of their own party's interests.

It's scary to see how far Democrats are willing to go to get power in government. Using automatic voter registration methods to sign up people who are not citizens is not only illegal, but it also goes against what democracy is all about. We need to speak out against this dangerous trend and fight to keep our elections fair. Only people who live in the country should be able to vote in neighborhood, state, and national elections.
