In this story, the pesky Dems are up to their old tricks again, using their tired playbook from the 2022 midterms to try and smear three GOP Senate candidates by making baseless accusations about their connections to the states they hope to represent. It’s like they go to the same “deflect and distract” school of political strategy every election year!
First up on the Dem hit list is Eric Hovde, who’s looking to give Senator Tammy Baldwin a run for her money in Wisconsin. The Dems are trying to paint Hovde as a California big shot, claiming he owns a mansion there (as if that’s a bad thing), and they’re calling him a “carpetbagger” just because he spent some time in D.C. Can you believe the nerve of those Dems? Hovde is a proud Wisconsinite through and through, and he’s got the family history to prove it!

Next, we’ve got Tim Sheehy, who’s shaking things up in Montana. The Dems are pulling out all the stops to discredit this guy, even going as far as to call him “Transplant Tim” and insinuating that he’s not a real Montanan because of his roots in Minnesota. Talk about desperate! Sheehy may not be a native, but he chose Montana as his home for a reason, and that should count for something, right?
Last but not least, David McCormick is feeling the heat in Pennsylvania. The Dems are trying to make an issue out of his residency, claiming that because he has a home in Connecticut, he can’t possibly represent the good people of Pennsylvania. But McCormick is setting the record straight, letting everyone know that he’s just being a good dad by spending time with his daughter in Connecticut. What’s wrong with that? The Dems are just digging for dirt where there is none!
It’s clear that the Democrats are grasping at straws here, hoping to distract voters from the real issues at hand. But the Republicans are ready to fight back and show the American people that they’re the ones with the fresh ideas and outsider perspectives that Washington sorely needs. So, watch out Dems, the GOP isn’t going to let these baseless attacks slide!
