The liberal meltdown continues as Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s choice of Nicole Shanahan as his vice president pick sends shockwaves through the Democrat Party. Representative Robert Garcia (D-CA) went so far as to express personal offense and disgust at Kennedy’s campaign, declaring that he should be ashamed of himself and cease his run for the presidency. Meanwhile, Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Austin Davis (D) shamelessly labeled Kennedy a “spoiler,” even suggesting that the Independent candidate was “drafted” into the race by Trump’s top supporters.
The Democrats are in full panic mode, realizing that a third-party candidate like Kennedy could potentially siphon off crucial votes from Biden, despite the president’s dismal polling numbers due to his extreme left-wing policies. Pro-Biden super PACs have gone on the offensive, launching smear campaigns aimed at dissuading voters from even considering Kennedy as a viable option.
One website, rfkjrfacts, has gone all out with a comprehensive collection of photographs attempting to link Kennedy with Trump and other Republican figures. Their baseless accusations paint Kennedy as a “MAGA-backed candidate” financed by billionaires to aid in Trump’s reelection, citing his supposed dangerous platform and a laundry list of alleged offensive remarks.
Not to be outdone, anti-Trump PAC Clear Choice has also rolled out several ads attacking Kennedy’s alleged ties to the president, highlighting his apparent pride at being favored by Trump. On the flip side, pro-Trump PACs have expressed doubts about Kennedy’s VP choice, dismissing Shanahan as a “Biden donor leftist” and insinuating that her selection comes as no surprise.
Make America Great Again Inc., a vocal pro-Trump super PAC, condemned Kennedy as a far-left radical, citing his support for reparations, backing of the Green New Deal, and desire to ban fracking. The battle lines have been drawn, and the looming specter of a Kennedy-Shanahan ticket has sent shockwaves through the already tumultuous political landscape.
