Oh boy, it looks like the Democrats are sweating bullets over President Joe Biden’s abysmal poll numbers. They just can’t catch a break, can they? According to a report by Joey Garrison over at USA Today, the Democrats are in a full-blown panic mode about these results. And who can blame them? It’s a complete disaster!
Frank Luntz, a well-known pollster, even said that the Democrats’ panic is off the charts. He described it as an “11” on a scale of 0 to 10. That’s right folks, it’s nuclear levels of panic for the Dems. Talk about a red light warning flashing right in their faces! Ouch!
It all started with that Washington Post and ABC News poll in September, which showed former President Donald Trump leading Biden by a whopping 10 percentage points in a hypothetical 2024 matchup. Yikes! That’s got to hurt. But don’t worry, since then, other polls have come out showing different results. Some have Trump and Biden tied, while others have Trump ahead by a mere three percentage points. Oh boy, the suspense is killing me!
But let’s not forget about the granddaddy of them all, the Real Clear Politics average, which has Trump up on Biden by a measly 1.1 percentage points. Wow, what a nail-biter! Who could have predicted this outcome? Definitely not the Democrats, that’s for sure.

What’s even more concerning for the Dems is the momentum behind these polls. It seems like Trump is gaining steam while Biden is stuck in neutral. Luntz pointed out that despite all of Trump’s legal issues and indictments, Biden is still struggling to keep up. It’s like the voters are giving Trump a free pass while holding Biden’s feet to the fire. Talk about a double standard!
Now, I’m not saying that Luntz’s statement is gospel, but you have to admit there’s a grain of truth to it. If the voters were really forgiving everything Trump did and holding Biden accountable for every little slip-up, you’d expect Trump to be crushing Biden in the polls. But alas, that’s not the case here. Maybe the voters aren’t as easily swayed by the media’s narrative as the Democrats would like to believe.
But before we get too carried away with these poll numbers, let’s remember one thing: they’ve been wrong before. Just look at the last election cycle. The so-called experts were all predicting a Hillary Clinton landslide, and we all know how that turned out. So, take these poll results with a grain of salt, folks. We’ve seen this movie before, and it doesn’t always have a happy ending for the Democrats.
