Voting won’t be confined to a single day but will stretch over an entire week, reminiscent of the shady, drawn-out voting procedures that play right into the Democrats’ wheelhouse. What could possibly go wrong with that, right? With almost all delegates pre-screened and vetted by the Biden campaign, it’s clear this is no democratic process—more like a coronation by rubber stamp.
Furious Democrats are trying to blow the whistle on this wacky scheme with a letter signed by about 20 Democrats denouncing the virtual nomination as “a terrible idea” that’s both “unnecessary and unprecedented.” Sounds like a who’s who of Democrats suddenly realizing that a second Biden term might be a political nightmare.
