In a shocking turn of events, the liberal Democrats have once again shown their true colors by voting to shield criminal illegal immigrants from deportation. These reckless votes are just the latest in a string of outrageous actions by the left, who seem intent on putting the interests of lawbreakers above those of hardworking American citizens.
One such vote saw Democrat Leader Jeffries and 150 House Democrats stand in opposition to deporting criminal illegal aliens convicted of drunk driving. Yes, you read that right. They believe that illegal alien trespassers who drink and drive should be immune from facing the consequences of their actions. It’s a slap in the face to every American family who has been affected by the devastating effects of drunk driving.

But that’s not all. Instead of focusing on keeping our communities safe, Rep. Jerry Nadler and his cohorts are pushing to use taxpayer dollars to expand public ride-sharing programs, rather than taking strong measures to deport illegal aliens who drive drunk. It’s almost as if they care more about protecting lawbreakers than keeping innocent Americans out of harm’s way.
And if that wasn’t enough, just the other day, a jaw-dropping 75% of House Democrats refused to vote in favor of deporting illegal aliens who commit social security fraud. That’s right, folks. They are more concerned with shielding illegal immigrants than they are with protecting our seniors. It’s clear that the Democrats’ priorities are completely out of whack.
To add insult to injury, while the Democrats are busy bending over backwards to protect criminal illegal immigrants, Americans are falling victim to crimes committed by these lawless individuals. Take, for instance, the tragic case in Colorado, where an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, who had a history of DWI arrests and deportations, was arrested again after allegedly killing a mother and her son in a car crash involving alcohol. This heartbreaking incident is just one of many, and it underscores the very real and devastating impact of the Democrats’ lax immigration policies.
It’s high time for the Democrats to prioritize the safety and well-being of Americans over the interests of criminal illegal immigrants. These disgraceful votes and the tragic consequences that have followed should serve as a wake-up call to every American who values the rule of law and the safety of their communities. The Democrats’ actions speak volumes about where their loyalties lie, and it’s not with the hardworking men and women of this country.
