In a stunning turn of events, the Obama-appointed judge who is handling former President Donald Trump’s federal election interference case has rejected prosecutors’ request to jail Trump if he violates the newly reinstated gag order. U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan, clearly showing her bias against Trump, stated that sending him to jail would not be necessary to enforce her latest ruling. It’s clear that this judge is more interested in protecting her own agenda than in upholding justice.

This decision comes just days after Judge Chutkan renewed the gag order against Trump when he made statements on social media that she believed would have violated the order. She temporarily lifted the order as Trump’s attorneys appealed it, only to impose it again. It’s truly astounding how desperate these anti-Trump judges are to silence him and prevent him from getting a fair trial. Trump has the right to speak his mind and defend himself.
It’s important to note that Trump’s popularity has actually increased since he started facing these bogus charges. The American people see through the biased attacks on Trump and know that he is innocent. Trump has been using Judge Chutkan as a punching bag, rightfully calling out her obvious bias and calling her a “Trump Hating Judge.” He’s absolutely right. Her actions and rulings are disgraceful and have no place in our justice system.
This latest decision is just one of many setbacks faced by the prosecution team as they try to pin Civil War-era charges on Trump. It’s clear that they have no evidence and are simply trying to score political points. Trump has consistently denied any guilt, and the fact that more and more people are rallying behind him shows that the American people are tired of these politically motivated attacks. It’s time for Judge Chutkan and her ilk to step aside and let justice prevail.
