The DeSantis campaign is going through a rough patch, folks. They’ve had to fire some staff members and do a whole lot of restructuring. But don’t worry, this isn’t because they’re broke and can’t afford to pay people. No, no, no. It’s just a strategic move, a pivot if you will. They’re realigning their resources and making some changes to get the campaign back on track. And let me tell you, they’ve been raking in the dough. DeSantis raised a whopping $20 million in the second quarter, outdoing even former President Donald Trump. Take that, Donnie!

But despite all that money, DeSantis’ poll numbers are taking a dip. And let me tell you, as a Republican, that’s not good news. According to polls, support for DeSantis has dropped below 20%. Yikes! Some people are even saying he’s headed for a Scott Walker-like disaster. Ouch. That’s gotta sting. But the DeSantis team is trying to reassure everyone that this is just a bump in the road. They had some growing pains, hired too many people too quickly, you know how it goes. They’re confident they can turn things around.

So what’s their plan? Well, they’re shifting their focus. Instead of harping on about the culture wars, they’re going for a “Great American Comeback.” Sounds exciting, doesn’t it? And they’re also trying to chip away at Trump’s lead. Good luck with that, fellas. But hey, they’re not giving up. They’re determined to defeat Joe Biden and his $72 million war chest. They’re building a movement, folks. A movement that’s gonna go the distance. At least, that’s what their spokesman says.
But here’s the thing, DeSantis needs to start showing some nimbleness. He needs to prove that he’s the candidate who can make things happen. Otherwise, this whole reset might not do much good. The campaign’s hopes are hanging in the balance, folks. It’s a make or break moment for DeSantis. Let’s see if he can rise to the occasion.
