In a surprising turn of events, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has taken to Twitter to call for the expulsion of Representative Ilhan Omar from Congress. And he didn’t stop there – DeSantis also suggested that Omar’s U.S. citizenship should be revoked and that she should be deported back to Somalia. Now that’s what I call standing up for American values!
Kick Her Out! Ron DeSantis Calls for Ilhan Omar to Be Expelled From Congress, Denaturalized, Deportedhttps://t.co/5Bf5MAsltN

It all started when a video of Omar’s speech to Somali leaders in Minnesota went viral. In her speech, Omar proudly proclaimed that her primary job in Congress is to protect Somali interests and that she is “Somalian first, Muslim second.” Well, excuse me, but last time I checked, she was elected to represent the people of Minnesota, not Somalia. It’s clear that Omar has forgotten who she is supposed to be working for.
But that’s not all. Omar also had the audacity to say that “while I am in Congress, no one will take Somalia’s sea.” Seriously? Last time I checked, Somalia wasn’t part of the United States. Maybe Omar needs a refresher on geography and priorities.
What’s truly alarming about all of this is that Omar’s allegiance clearly lies with a foreign power, not with the United States. She has abandoned her oath of office and has shown that she has no loyalty to the country that gave her so many opportunities. It’s time for her to face the consequences of her actions.
Governor DeSantis is absolutely right in calling for Omar’s expulsion from Congress, the revocation of her citizenship, and her deportation back to Somalia. We simply can’t have someone in our government who openly admits that their allegiance is not to the United States. It’s a slap in the face to every patriotic American who believes in putting America first.
Now, I know there are some bleeding-heart liberals out there who will defend Omar and claim that she has the right to free speech. But let me remind you, free speech comes with responsibility. When you hold a position of power in Congress, it is your duty to represent the best interests of the American people, not your own personal agenda or the interests of a foreign nation.
It’s unfortunate that the Biden administration will likely do nothing to address this issue. But come November, we have the power to make a change. And if the House GOP can expel one of their own, then they certainly have the authority to expel someone like Omar, whose transgressions are far more serious.
So let’s stand with Governor DeSantis and demand that Ilhan Omar be kicked out of Congress, denaturalized, and deported. It’s time to put an end to the misguided actions of those who prioritize foreign interests over our own. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go wave my American flag and sing the national anthem to remind myself what true patriotism looks like. God bless America!
