House Republicans face yet another setback in their investigation into the Biden family as their key witness, Devon Archer, has now canceled his deposition not once, not twice, but three times! Can anyone say “getting cold feet”? This is getting more dramatic than a daytime soap opera.
So, who is this Devon Archer character and why is he so important? Well, he just happens to be a former business partner of none other than Hunter Biden himself. They were like two peas in a pod, working together at the Rosemont Seneca Partners investment firm. And if that wasn’t cozy enough, Archer also joined the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, just like Hunter did. Talk about being thick as thieves. Or should we say, thick as Biden family business partners?
Representative James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, thought it would be a fantastic idea to subpoena Archer and bring him in for a good ol’ deposition. You know, just to get the truth out there. But of course, like a true Hollywood star, Archer missed his cue not once, not twice, but three times. I guess he’s just not ready for his close-up.
Now, Comer and his committee are scratching their heads, wondering how on earth they can convince Archer to cooperate. Spoiler alert: they can’t! Archer seems to be playing hard to get, canceling his deposition as if it were just another brunch date. I gotta hand it to him, he’s got some serious nerve.
The big question is, why is Archer avoiding the committee’s invitation with such fervor? Could it be that he has some skeletons in his closet? Maybe a few secrets to protect on behalf of the Bidens? One can only speculate, but it certainly raises eyebrows. If Archer had nothing to hide, why wouldn’t he just show up and spill the beans? It’s enough to make a conservative wonder what they’re trying to keep hidden.

With Archer’s elusive behavior, it’s difficult to say whether Comer and his committee will be able to squeeze in his deposition before the upcoming month-long August recess. My guess is, they better prepare for a little extra drama when they return because this story is far from over. Will Archer finally come clean or continue to play his game of hide and seek? The real question is, will the American people ever get the truth they deserve? Only time will tell.
