A disgraced former FBI agent who was involved in the investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia is set to plead guilty in a case involving a Russian oligarch. ABC News reports that Charles McGonigal, the former head of counterintelligence for the FBI’s New York field office, is scheduled for a “plea proceeding” on August 15. McGonigal is accused of illegally working for sanctioned Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska.

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Another corrupt FBI agent involved in the witch hunt against President Trump. It’s no surprise that McGonigal is facing charges for illegally working for a Russian oligarch. The whole Russia collusion narrative was nothing more than a bogus attempt to undermine the Trump administration. It’s about time these deep state operatives are held accountable for their actions.
This is just another example of the bias and corruption within our justice system. McGonigal, one of the highest-ranking FBI officials ever to be criminally charged, was supposed to be upholding the law, not breaking it. This is a clear case of someone abusing their power for personal gain. It’s sickening to think that these are the people we’re supposed to trust to protect our country.
But don’t worry, folks, justice will be served. McGonigal’s attorney seems to think there’s a “decent chance” the case will be resolved. Translation: the deep state will do whatever it can to protect its own. We can’t let this happen. We need to demand transparency and accountability. The American people deserve justice, and we won’t rest until we get it.
It’s time for a complete overhaul of the FBI and other corrupt law enforcement agencies. We need leaders who are dedicated to upholding the Constitution and serving the American people, not their own personal interests. President Trump was right all along when he said there was a deep state trying to take him down. This case just proves it. Let’s hope McGonigal’s guilty plea is just the beginning of draining the swamp.
