Ellen DeGeneres is back in California, and surprise—she’s buying up more luxury real estate than ever. After all the grandstanding about “escaping” Trump’s America and running off to the British countryside, it turns out Ellen just can’t resist the Golden State’s billionaire playgrounds. Fourteen months after she fled for the Cotswolds—supposedly to take a stand against President Trump—she’s dropping a jaw-dropping $27 million on another mansion in Montecito.
So much for all that fearmongering about the dangers of living in America under a Republican president. When the chips are down, these Hollywood liberals never actually give up their perks. They preach doom and gloom, threaten to leave the country when conservatives win, and then—shock!—they circle right back to their oceanfront compounds as soon as the headlines fade. Maybe the British air wasn’t posh enough, or maybe the taxes were too high even for Ellen’s taste.
Ellen fled the U.S. for the UK because she couldn’t handle living under Trump’s presidency. Now, she bought a $27 million mansion in Ca. after realizing Britain is becoming unsafe.
She says she’ll split her time between the 2 countries.

It’s classic liberal elitism. Regular Americans can barely afford groceries or gas, and yet the left’s favorite celebrities spend more on a single house than most families would see in a thousand lifetimes. Ellen doesn’t seem all that worried about “Trump’s America” when she can retreat to her sprawling estate, safe behind iron gates. The hypocrisy is so thick you could cut it with a knife.
Let’s not kid ourselves: This isn’t about “living her truth” or being some kind of brave revolutionary. It’s about globalist celebrities wanting it both ways—criticizing Middle America for wanting safe neighborhoods and secure borders, while making sure their own homes are protected and their fortunes untouched. The same people who tell us to downsize, eat bugs, and stop driving cars are splurging on the latest California palaces. Nothing new there.
Why should working Americans be lectured by people like Ellen ever again? She had no problem finding her way back to California when it suited her. Maybe the next time she threatens to leave, Americans should help her pack.
