With Emmer’s backing, Trump now stands tall with endorsements from heavyweight Republicans like Majority Leader Steve Scalise and House Speaker Mike Johnson. The Democrats may want to bring their A-game, because the GOP is locked and loaded for the battle ahead.
Emmer didn’t mince words about his decision, pointing out the need for Republicans to band together against the Democrats’ onslaught. He proudly declared, “It’s time for Republicans to unite behind our party’s clear frontrunner, which is why I am proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for President.”
The momentum behind Trump is undeniable. He boasts a whopping 90 endorsements from House Republicans and unwavering support from 18 U.S. senators. New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, who’s backing Nikki Haley, is practically begging Chris Christie to drop out of the race due to his lackluster polling. It’s clear that even with their powers combined, they still can’t measure up to Trump’s colossal 44% support in the Granite State.
