Equity Grading: The Liberal Trend Threatening Our Children’s Future

Steve Forbes is right to call out the dangerous new trend destroying our schools. Equity grading is just another fancy name for lowering standards and failing our kids. This latest liberal education fad tells teachers to ignore poor performance and hand out good grades anyway.

Our children deserve better than this race to the bottom. When schools stop holding students accountable, they rob kids of the chance to learn and grow. Hard work and excellence should be rewarded, not ignored in the name of fairness.

Traditional grading worked for generations of Americans who built this great nation. Students learned that effort matters and that success requires dedication. Now liberal educators want to throw away proven methods for feel-good policies that help nobody.

This equity grading nonsense hurts the very students it claims to help. When teachers can’t give honest feedback, struggling students never get the support they need. Meanwhile, high achievers lose motivation when their extra effort goes unrecognized.

Parents across America are fed up with these failed experiments in their children’s classrooms. They send their kids to school expecting real education, not social engineering disguised as teaching. Hardworking families deserve schools that actually prepare students for life.

The real world doesn’t practice equity grading. Employers expect results and colleges demand high standards. Students who coast through school with fake good grades will face a harsh wake-up call when they graduate.

Teachers need the power to run their classrooms without fear of lawsuits from administrators pushing political agendas. Good educators know that honest grading helps students learn from mistakes and strive for excellence. We must restore their authority to teach properly.

School administrators who support these destructive policies should be held personally responsible for their schools’ failures. When test scores drop and students can’t compete, these officials must face the consequences. Our children’s futures are too important for more educational experiments that don’t work.
