The purported "future" of automobiles, electric vehicles, continue to demonstrate their deceitful nature and exorbitant cost. The automotive sector has produced a line of unpopular electric vehicles despite investing billions in research and development. An instance of this frivolous vanity endeavor, which is financially unattainable but has cost Ford billions of dollars, comes to mind. The expenditure associated with owning a charging station—one for the workplace and one for one's residence—beyond the vehicle's price, which can exceed $100,000, is another factor to consider. Not to mention the expensive residential power grid upgrade that is also necessary. Clearly, the majority of working families cannot afford this.

Moreover, these electric vehicles' batteries degrade exponentially when frigid weather sets in. Extraneous travel should not be contemplated due to the extreme severity of this degradation. Common sense dictates that electric vehicles are not the solution, despite the efforts of the auto industry and its liberal allies to distort the truth. The present moment presents an opportune moment to allocate resources towards cost-effective and dependable gasoline-powered automobiles that do not cause financial ruin or islanding.
