Former Republican congressman turned Cameo star, George Santos, is not letting his recent ouster from the House stop him from dishing out advice. But Santos isn’t just any old celeb – he’s billing himself as a “former congressional icon.” And his first customer? None other than Sen. Fetterman, who shelled out about $343 from his campaign funds to get Santos to send a message to Menendez. Talk about political theatrics!
In the video, Santos addresses “Bobby from Jersey” – a clear jab at Menendez – offering up some less-than-subtle encouragement to the embattled senator. And Fetterman wasted no time plastering the video on his X account, the platform formerly known as Twitter, making it crystal clear who the mysterious “Bobby” is. Fetterman even took a swipe at Menendez, calling him “ethically-challenged” and saying he needs some advice from an “expert.” Talk about adding fuel to the fire!
To top it all off, Menendez has been digging in his heels, refusing to budge in the face of calls for his resignation. He’s facing a heap of federal charges tied to allegations of serving as a foreign agent for the Egyptian government and violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act. But does he plan to step down?
