Jerry Nadler, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, and the Democrats tried to discredit Joe Biden's impeachment case by spinning the transcript of FBI agent Thomas Sobocinski's testimony. They claimed that the story of the two whistleblowers was "unraveling."
Sobocinski maintained that the whistleblowers failed to provide evidence to support their claims that David Weiss did not have the authority to charge Hunter Biden. He also noted that, while he could not recall exactly what he said, Weiss took his time making the decision. The Democrats tried to ignore this crucial part of the story in an attempt to discredit the whistleblowers' credibility.

There is also proof supporting the claims made by the whistleblowers. For instance, Gary Shapley, the IRS whistleblower, shared his notes with his coworkers in real time. His supervisor also verified the accuracy of his notations. These documents directly contradict the claims made by Sobocinski, who claimed that he did not remember the meeting. It is believed that Sobocinsky's memory failed him due to his failure to align with the Democrats' narrative.
The Democrats' attempt at discrediting the whistleblowers has been completely unsuccessful. The documents provided by Shapley have reinforced the claims of the whistleblowers and highlighted the problems with the investigation being conducted by Weiss. It's clear that their efforts to undermine the case against Biden have failed.
