House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, is hot on the trail of a $10 million bribe that President Joe Biden allegedly received. Comer revealed that he has some promising leads when it comes to tracking down the money. He believes that offshore accounts may be involved.

The investigation centers around a document known as the FD-1023 form, which was released by Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa in July. This form contains information provided by a confidential FBI informant, who claimed that Mykola Zlochevsky, the head of Ukrainian energy company Burisma, funneled $5 million to Joe Biden and another $5 million to Hunter Biden. Allegedly, the money was exchanged for the elder Biden’s influence in pressuring the Ukrainian government to fire a prosecutor investigating Burisma.
Comer did not provide further details on the ongoing investigation, stating that it’s something that will be discussed at a later time. However, he mentioned that the existence of offshore accounts would be consistent with patterns observed in other countries like Romania, China, Russia, and Ukraine.
Joining Comer on the talk show Hannity, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith, a Republican from Missouri, highlighted the significance of two IRS agents who testified as whistleblowers in July. Smith praised their credibility and noted that their statements have remained consistent, while the Biden administration continues to offer conflicting information.
As the investigation unfolds, it remains to be seen what evidence will emerge and how it will shape the political landscape. One thing is for certain, though: Republicans are determined to get to the bottom of this alleged bribe and hold those responsible accountable.
