According to multiple reports, the liberal mainstream media once again got it wrong when they reported that former President Donald Trump failed to provide food to supporters at a Cuban restaurant in Miami, Florida. The media was in a frenzy, claiming that Trump had promised to feed everyone and broke his promise by leaving the restaurant without following through. However, the truth, as always, is far from what the media reported.

Despite the 27 charges related to the alleged mishandling of classified information, Trump still took the time to visit the Versailles restaurant in Miami and interact with his supporters. He had promised food for everyone, which was a noble gesture that his supporters appreciated. But the media’s fake news reports alleged that he did not keep his promise, and his supporters were left high and dry.

Trump’s spokesperson clarified that the former president “offered to buy food” for his supporters, but they “followed him outside as he was leaving and did not place their own orders.” This means that Trump had not left any of his supporters hanging as the media dishonestly reported. The advance team paid for any takeout dishes ordered, but this kind act was buried beneath the noise that the media was making about Trump.
The Miami New Times had directly claimed that Trump’s supporters did not even get a cup of cafecito and that the former president left without paying anything. The reality was far from what they reported, and the media’s lack of fact-checking and anti-Trump bias is yet another example of how the media paints the former president as the villain.
Trump has consistently claimed that the mainstream media is fake news, and this falsehood that they peddled about him not keeping his promise for food despite offering to pay shows their stubbornness to lie and twist the truth. Once again, they were proven wrong, and the truth was that Trump, despite facing numerous charges, still took the time to visit and engage with his supporters and even offered to buy food for them, which they did not want or take up the offer due to their own enthusiasm to show their support to President Trump.
