This time, they’re spreading the bizarre tale that ICE is rounding up Latino Trump supporters, with the evidence being a clearly altered photo that went viral, particularly among left-wing circles, quicker than you can say “fake news.”
This alleged image shows ICE agents apprehending a man flaunting a “Latinos for Trump 2024” shirt. Naturally, those on the left couldn’t resist taking the bait and began sharing this doctored gem on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter). What’s humorous, yet alarming, is that these posts mocked the supposed “crime” of this man: voting for Trump. Gotta love the irony when the party priding itself on inclusion breathes life into such divisive narratives.

In a wild twist, a satire site based in Venezuela, humorously named El Chigüire Bipolar, joined in on the fun, publishing an entire article revolving around this fictional narrative. This story included hilarious references to ICE “breaking up” meetings of the Latino pro-Trump group. The fake report even featured a fictional ICE agent making dubious remarks about keeping tabs on gang members based on skin tone and dance skills. It seems humor and absurdity walk hand in hand when trying to spin a narrative against Trump and his supporters.
But wait, the plot thickens! Contrary to the smoothly edited version spread by these leftist accounts, the real image can be traced back to 2018 when an ICE raid conducted in Ohio netted over 140 suspects for immigration violations while targeting a known meatpacking company. The detained man in question was simply caught in the crossfire of that operation. In fact, he didn’t even sport the “Latinos for Trump” apparel—his plain shirt was manipulated by someone looking for clicks rather than truth.
These recent antics further magnify a more significant point—Trump’s fierce stance against illegal immigration remains popular among many Latino voters. Even as the left panics, Trump has been quietly amassing support in this demographic, shattering expectations and records that previous Republican candidates could only dream of. By trumpeting their own narrative of oppression and fear, they miss the very real shift happening right under their noses.
More Latino male voters are aligning with Trump than ever before, swinging from a 23-point deficit in 2020 to a comfortable 10-point lead over Biden’s successor, Kamala Harris. The left seems unnerved, trying desperately to quell this cultural shift with dubious photos and fabricated stories. But the more they push their agenda, the more the tables turn, demonstrating that truth in politics isn’t just advantageous; it’s downright entertaining. While they fiddle with Photoshop, Trump just rolls on, leaving a trail of adverse reactions as he connects more with every voter who realizes that being authentically American cuts across any perceived division.
