A man who pretended to be a US Marshal was apprehended by Robert Kennedy Jr.'s security team during a campaign event in LA. The incident occurred at a theater where the politician was delivering a speech about Hispanic Heritage. The man, who was carrying a gun, probably thought he could easily blend in with the crowd and fool them into thinking he was a marshal.
Kennedy claims that a man who pretended to be a US Marshal was apprehended red-handed. The individual was wearing two shoulder pouches, which were equipped with loaded guns and ammunition magazines, and he was carrying a badge with the Marshal logo on it.
The LAPD was called in to help the Kennedy campaign's security team apprehend the man, who was pretending to be a US Marshal. It's believed that he will face gun charges. You can't just go around and pretend to be a cop, especially when you're armed.
The incident has added to the already high level of anxiety that Mr. Kennedy has been experiencing as he tries to secure the Democratic nomination. He has requested Secret Service protection numerous times throughout his campaign. Who wouldn't want to be protected by the agency after someone tried to steal their identity as a US Marshal?
In addition, Kennedy has claimed that the US government has been involved in assassination attempts. During a recent appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast, the politician doubled down on his belief that the CIA killed his uncle, John F. Kennedy.
It's no wonder that Kennedy has been asking for Secret Service protection since his father, Robert, was killed in Los Angeles during a campaign event over 50 years ago. His death occurred just two months after Lyndon Johnson decided not to seek a re-election. This gave Robert Kennedy an opportunity to run for president. The Kennedy family is known for its unwanted and wanted behavior.
If Kennedy wins the Democratic nomination, Joe Biden should make room for him inside the Secret Service bubble. Since nobody knows what other wild individuals may try to impersonate a government official during his appearances, it's a job that everyone must perform.
