Another shocking whistleblower report about the FBI’s handling of the Capitol Hill attack on January 6 has emerged. It has been claimed that FBI Deputy Director, Paul Abbate, threatened to fire agents who raised questions about the FBI’s handling of the January 6 riot compared to other similar riots. This revelation comes after the George Floyd riots in 2020 when numerous federal properties were attacked, and many Black Lives Matter supporters indulged in violent behavior.
During a Director SVTC, Abbate told the audience that agents questioning the FBI’s approach should find a different job or end up facing the consequences. The concern stems from the differences in the treatment of the Capitol Hill attack and the riots that transpired last summer, with the latter being widely accepted as more violent and destructive.
Reports corroborate the concerns raised about the FBI’s response to the January 6 riots. Almost 1,033 people were arrested under the Jan. 6 investigation, with roughly 485 has been convicted of crimes. Comparatively, over 120 people were convicted of federal charges from more than 300 federal cases for the 570 riots last summer, while at least 25 people died, and there was over $2 billion in property damage. For his part, Abbate claimed that the agency was allocating the appropriate resources for each matter.
Abbate threatened employees who disagreed with his approach. The whistleblower reports suggest that Abbate targeted those employees whose concerns had been heard by many FBI agents. Despite the accusations, Abbate has received an endorsement from the FBI, stating that he has always treated employees with “dignity, compassion, and respect.”

People have also speculated that the FBI’s performance at dealing with the January 6 riot may have to do with collusion between the FBI and the Democrat Party. It’s hard for people to believe that there isn’t an ulterior motive behind the different treatment of the Capitol riots and the summer riots from 2020. The FBI’s testimony adds credibility to the possibility that the Democrats have compromised the FBI.
Finally, until Congress investigates what happened on Capitol Hill and gets rid of the corrupt establishment that shields and protects illegal activities of law enforcement, there isn’t much hope for change. The only way this could be accomplished is by throwing out the current establishment, winning the White House and Congress, and giving power back to the people.
