Shockingly, they found that armed citizens intervened in 202 incidents, a much higher success rate of 36% rather than the 3.7% reported by the FBI. This means that when a civilian is armed and capable, there is a substantial chance of preventing tragedies in real-time, long before law enforcement arrives on scene.
