In America today, law enforcement officers face danger every day as they step up to protect our borders from chaos. Yet, the left continues to demonize ICE and other federal agencies for doing the job needed to maintain our nation’s safety. But let’s get real. When a suspect, Benjamin Song, targets ICE agents and orchestrates an attack, it’s a direct assault not just on law enforcement but on America’s sovereignty and security.
The FBI’s recent apprehension of Song in Texas is a win for justice and the ordinary, law-abiding citizens across this great nation. This individual, a military veteran, is now facing federal charges for allegedly attempting to murder a federal officer. What does it say about the political climate when the brave individuals who put their lives on the line to uphold our laws are attacked? It feeds directly into the left-wing playbook of undermining authority and destabilizing our communities.
Our immigration officers carry out their duties, facing hostility not only from criminals but also from liberal politicians who support open borders and view law enforcement as the enemy. Their rhetoric does nothing but fuel anti-law enforcement sentiment, and events like this serve as a harsh reminder of what’s at stake.

Why do these kinds of violent outbursts seem to target those doing the hard work of defending our borders? It’s because there’s a lack of support and respect instilled in these men and women by our current cultural climate perpetuated by the left.
In a time when Americans feel increasingly unsafe, maybe it’s time to reassess who the real villains are. Are they the people enforcing our laws or those who encourage lawlessness and chaos? The arrest of Benjamin Song is a victory, but it raises the question: How many more attacks will it take before this nation stands firmly behind its law enforcers?
