FBI Probes Queer Antifa Ties to Kirk Assassin Plot

Federal investigators have reportedly been looking into a bizarre activist group out of Utah calling itself the “Armed Queers of Salt Lake City.” The group appears to have ties abroad, including connections with Marxist organizations in Cuba, and suspicions of contact with regimes like Iran. What set off alarms was their sudden online disappearance, scrubbing their social media presence shortly after attention from federal authorities intensified. While officials have not linked the group directly to high-profile incidents such as the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the murky activities and international connections raise serious questions about who is backing such organizations and to what end.

The group had built an online persona marked by bold, combative imagery and incendiary rhetoric. Posts suggested a blend of militant activism and revolutionary zeal that seemed more aligned with foreign radical movements than traditional American political discourse. When groups preaching radical far-left ideology are found boasting connections to communist regimes abroad, it should cause alarm among American citizens who believe in safeguarding our Republic from dangerous ideologies. It is striking that such a group could build itself up so openly online while law-abiding conservative groups are routinely shadow-banned, censored, or investigated for far less.

One curious detail is that the apparent leader of the group has regularly traveled overseas, including trips to Cuba and even reported ties with Iran. For years, Americans have been told to fear domestic extremism from the right, while the mainstream press all but ignores radical fringe movements on the left that openly sympathize with America’s adversaries. If a right-leaning group had even hinted at connections with Moscow or Tehran, it would have been a blanket headline news for months. Yet for groups like this one, the coverage is muted or framed almost dismissively.

The Armed Queers’ sudden decision to erase their digital footprint is another striking red flag. When individuals torch their own social media presence, it usually signals they fear exposure of something deeper. Federal investigators should be taking a hard look at funding sources, recruitment strategies, and whether any foreign intelligence operations are connected. Americans deserve to know if hostile actors are funneling support to radical leftist militias operating on U.S. soil while politicians in Washington remain silent.

This case also highlights the staggering double standard in how political activism is monitored in America today. On the one hand, ordinary citizens who question government overreach or express patriotic views online often find themselves targeted for surveillance or censorship. On the other hand, groups romantically tied to communist revolutionaries and hostile regimes seem to earn shrugs or even sympathetic framing from the establishment press. If the safety of the Republic isn’t being prioritized equally, then Americans must demand accountability from their leaders.
