For years, we’ve been fed a line of denial about FBI involvement in the Jan. 6 Capitol incident, but now the truth is out. The FBI admitted 275 plainclothes agents were walking among the crowds on that historic day. Not just a few, as they wanted us to believe, but hundreds. This revelation puts the media’s credibility in jeopardy once again.
Why has it taken so long for these facts to emerge? The FBI’s stubborn refusal to initially disclose its involvement is telling. It was only under pressure that they finally admitted their presence. For four grueling years, this information was hidden from the public. The public deserves transparency from their government, not cover-ups and misinformation. This is yet another example of bureaucratic deceit that we have grown way too familiar with.
