In a jaw-dropping interview with Tucker Carlson, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas unleashed a powerful message to President Joe Biden: Don’t you dare try and seize the state’s national guard! Abbott made it clear that he was “prepared” for any bone-headed move that Biden might consider, including taking control of the Texas National Guard. And let me tell you, folks, Abbott means business.

This all comes after the Supreme Court ruled that the Biden administration could remove concertina wire placed by Texas along the border. But Abbott, being the defender of the Constitution that he is, reminded everyone that Texas has the full constitutional authority to defend itself from those pesky illegal immigrants pouring across the southern border. Abbott scoffed at the notion of Biden trying to take control of the state’s national guard, calling it a “total disaster.” And he’s right!
But fear not, because Abbott assured us that Texas is ready for anything. They are prepared to continue building barriers and expanding their denial of illegal entry into the state. Take that, Biden! Abbott even mentioned their use of concertina wire and other anti-climb barriers. It’s like a fortress, standing tall against the horde of illegal immigrants.
Abbott didn’t stop there, though. He also highlighted his efforts to seek help from Biden, sending him eight letters (yes, eight!) seeking assistance with the border crisis. But guess what? Biden has refused to respond. Can you believe that? Abbott tried to reason with Biden, offering immediate solutions to secure the border without any new laws. But Biden just turned a blind eye. Shame on him!
To make matters worse, Abbott revealed that he has invoked Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution, claiming that Texas has been invaded and demanding support from the President. But Biden, once again, refused to provide the necessary aid. So, Abbott ain’t backing down. He’s ready to declare an invasion under Article I, Section 10 of the Constitution and use every tool in Texas’ arsenal to defend the state. Now that’s leadership!
And you know what? Abbott isn’t alone in this fight. Ten other states have declared their support for Texas and have sent their National Guard to assist. Talk about solidarity! Abbott expressed his hopes that more states would step up and join the cause as Texas continues to erect barriers. Can you imagine the wall of support that will be standing strong come January 20th, 2023, when a new president takes office? Abbott expects this new president to actually enforce the immigration laws of the entire country. It’s a breath of fresh air, my friends.
Gov. Abbott’s interview with Tucker Carlson was nothing short of incredible. His determination to protect Texas from the border crisis and his refusal to bow down to Biden’s incompetence is admirable. We need more leaders like Abbott who stand up for the Constitution and for the American people. Let’s hope that other states follow Texas’ example and that a new president will soon be inaugurated to restore law and order. Stay strong, America!
