New York City Mayor Eric Adams sounded off on Tuesday, declaring that big cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles shouldn’t be stuck dealing with the immigration mess brewing at the southern border. He’s been hollering for help from the Biden crew for quite some time now, and he’s finally got some pals teaming up with him to throw a fit about it.
NYC Proclaimed to be a "Sanctuary City" when Trump was elected and said he would deport illegals and build the wall.
Eric Adams claims cities should not be 'handling national problems' amid migrant crisis https://t.co/ql9wnOa2hq— Will O'Halloran (@JAFOinDC) December 27, 2023
The Adams guy mentioned during a press bash that other cities are starting to see things his way. He’s been squawking about this since way back in April 2022, and now he’s got backup from other mayors who are fed up with the constant influx of migrants piling up on their doorsteps. He even took a swipe at the President, whining that the Biden bunch have totally bailed on the whole issue.
It’s not just the mayors who are hollering at Biden. Rep. Tony Gonzales from Texas is saying that the southern border is busting at the seams, and he’s tired of all the yapping and no action. And get this, the National Security Council is mumbling something about working with Mexico to fix the fiasco.
Adams is taking all of this as a big joke, poking fun at the situation by saying he looks in the mirror some mornings and wants to flip himself off. Can you believe it? It’s a hot mess, and he’s clowning around about it.
