Fierce Smackdown: Ken Buck Slams MTG’s Biden Impeachment Tactics!

In a surprising turn of events, Colorado Republican Representative Ken Buck criticized his fellow Republican colleague, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, for her stance on impeaching President Joe Biden. Normally seen as being on the same ideological camp as Greene, as both are members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, Buck expressed his disagreement in an appearance on MSNBC.

Buck emphasized the importance of focusing on pressing issues facing the country, such as border security, crime in urban areas, and inflation. He argued that these are the issues that Americans truly care about and want to see a change in leadership in the White House to address. Buck also made it clear that he does not believe an impeachment process against President Biden would be successful in the Senate at this point.

Furthermore, Buck dismissed claims of widespread abuse against January 6 prisoners, stating that there is no evidence to suggest that they were treated differently than any other prisoners. He also directly criticized Greene, stating that her claim of being an expert on impeachment and her desire to set the timing for it is absurd. Buck argued that impeachment should only be pursued if there is evidence of a high crime or misdemeanor committed by the president, which he believes does not currently exist in the case of President Biden.

In response to Buck’s criticism, Greene took to social media to denounce him as a “Democrat” trying to win Biden’s approval. She questioned when Buck would announce his switch to the Democratic party, accusing him of shilling for Biden and hoping for a future appointment from the president. This public feud between two Republicans highlights the divisions within the party regarding the impeachment of President Biden.
