In a whirlwind of political drama that’s enough to make your head spin faster than a tilt-a-whirl, Florida Republican lawmakers Rep. Berny Jacques and Rep. Toby Overdorf have been making waves in the state legislature. These two gentlemen have been taking a stand against what they see as “woke garbage,” and boy, did they do us proud!
First up, we’ve got Rep. Jacques, the brave soul behind an anti-DEI education bill that aims to keep our schools free from the clutches of radical indoctrination. Democrats, as always, were quick to cry foul, accusing Jacques of trying to erase black history and sweep racism under the rug. It’s the same tired song and dance we’ve heard time and time again – any attempt to bring common sense into our education system is met with baseless accusations and hysterics.

But Jacques wasn’t having any of it. He stood his ground, arguing that teaching history should be about educating, not indoctrinating. And when he dared to call out the “woke garbage” for what it was, the Democrats couldn’t handle the truth. They had the audacity to cry foul over a simple choice of words, showing just how fragile their narrative really is.
Meanwhile, Rep. Overdorf had his own moment to shine during a Judiciary Committee hearing. When a constituent made a comment about rolling back gun laws, Overdorf’s reaction was pure gold. It’s moments like these that remind us why we need strong, conservative voices in our government – to push back against the madness and stand up for our rights.
And let’s not forget Governor Ron DeSantis, who once again proved he’s a force to be reckoned with. Florida truly is where “woke goes to die,” thanks to leaders like Jacques, Overdorf, and DeSantis who aren’t afraid to speak the truth.
In a world where political correctness runs amok and common sense is a rare commodity, it’s refreshing to see lawmakers like Jacques and Overdorf fearlessly taking on the left’s radical agenda. Keep up the good fight, gentlemen. Florida is counting on you to keep us safe from the tide of woke insanity sweeping the nation.
