Author Chadwick Moore criticized Fox News for behaving in a "Stalinesque" way after the network reportedly asked that a campaign ad featuring former host Tucker Carlson be changed before it could air. Francis Suarez, the mayor of Miami and a presidential candidate for the Republican Party, allegedly had to cut out Carlson from the ad for it to be shown on Fox News. The ad was made by the GOP group SOS America PAC, which had to take out "violent crime scene footage with guns or shootings or they wouldn't air it." They also had to take out all images and videos of Tucker Carlson. But Newsmax didn't ask for any changes to the ad before it aired it.

In an interview with Mediaite, Moore said that Fox News was acting like Tucker was Voldemort. He said, "It is he who shall not be named," referring to the fictional character in the Harry Potter books. Eric Bolling also talked to Mediaite and said that he was treated the same way by the network. He said that he was cut out of all of the network's look-backs for their ten-year anniversary.
Many Republicans are angry that Fox News seems to be against conservative ideas. It's scary how clear it is that Fox News has replaced its conservative values with censorship. This shows that the network is slowly showing its true colors. The network doesn't seem to care about the thoughts and views of people like Carlson and Bolling who have helped it grow over the years. It looks like the once-well-known conservative network has turned censorship of the media into the new standard.
