Rep. Matt Gaetz, a gutsy and no-nonsense Florida firebrand, is calling out the Department of Justice and demanding an investigation into special counsel Jack Smith. Drawing on the wisdom of the revered and unstoppable Amy Coney Barrett, Gaetz is pointing to her sharp observations about the political nature of the legal proceedings. He’s also drumming up support by citing the damning report from DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, which ripped the lid off the FBI and DOJ’s shoddy handling of the Russia investigation.
