Another day, another reminder of the chaos reigning at the southern border under the Biden-Harris administration. A wanted gang member has managed to slip across that wide-open border and set up shop in Houston. Apparently, this is just another stellar achievement for Kamala Harris, who’s still holding on to the title of Border Czar despite the overwhelming evidence of failure.
Estimates suggest that more than two million “got-aways” have successfully infiltrated America during this administration, painting a grim picture for anyone who cares about national security. In the latest episode of this border circus, immigration authorities apprehended Alexis Bladimir Canizales Romero, a 27-year-old illegal alien hailing from El Salvador. His resume includes drunk driving charges and a connection to the notorious MS-13 gang, wanted back home for a slew of heinous crimes, including aggravated femicide and homicide.
It’s quite the twist of fate that Canizales Romero’s journey began with a brush against former President Trump’s border policies, which had him expelled back to Mexico due to Title 42. However, like a scene straight from a bad action movie, he pulled a sneaky maneuver and returned as one of the many got-aways, all without a peep from the Department of Homeland Security. It’s almost as if the administration is operating under the belief that borders are mere suggestions.
Eventually, ICE did manage to put a detainer on him, which led to authorities turning Canizales Romero over for deportation the day after his capture. A federal judge had the foresight to order his removal from the United States, and he was dispatched back to El Salvador just as fear took hold that he might attempt another illegal crossing. The bureaucratic speed at which this unfolded puts to shame the sluggishness of those still celebrating this administration’s open-door policy.

Reports indicate that illegal alien crime waves have begun inundating various states, with criminal gangs making themselves at home and even hijacking school buses for a bit of fun. This alarming trend directly stems from the policies rolled out by the Biden-Harris team, who continue to disregard the risks posed to American citizens.
In what has become a sad comedy of errors, the question remains: Has Canizales Romero really been dealt with, or is he just waiting for the next chance to play the border hopscotch game again?
