During a press conference with reporters on Friday, Attorney General Merrick Garland was questioned about the latest Hunter Biden saga that has been unfolding in Washington. Concerns over the Department of Justice’s integrity regarding the handling of the Hunter Biden investigation has left many Americans questioning the DOJ’s motives.

To make matters worse, two IRS whistleblowers recently testified against the DOJ and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, exposing explosive allegations of unjustified delays, lack of transparency, and threats of interference aimed at delaying the investigation. All while the Biden Administration continues to weaponize the DOJ against conservative Americans.

Despite these allegations, Garland shrugged off concerns about the DOJ’s integrity, choosing to call the accusations an “attack” on “democracy”. This is a disturbing response from the DOJ’s top official, who has a responsibility to uphold transparency and justice.
The DOJ’s reported refusal to examine a critical WhatsApp message between Hunter Biden and a Chinese businessman, which threatened the man with destruction if payments to the Biden family weren’t made, only adds more fuel to the fire. Representative Jason Smith (R-MO) also noted that the U.S. Attorney of Delaware, David Weiss, was thwarted in his attempts to bring charges against Hunter Biden in 2022 and 2023 due to interference from the DOJ.
These allegations are deeply concerning as they indicate that the DOJ is willing to go to any length to protect the Bidens and prioritize politics over justice. The whistleblowers revealed that they had encountered substantial internal roadblocks in their investigation, despite an apparent clear case for tax liability on the payments. The DOJ’s lack of transparency and resistance to the investigation only raises more questions about the Bidens’ involvement in criminal activities.
To make matters worse, Garland was recently seen rubbing elbows with Hunter Biden at an official White House state dinner held for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This raises serious questions about the relationship between the DOJ and the Bidens and whether Garland is truly able to remain impartial in his role as Attorney General.
Americans deserve a DOJ that is transparent, unbiased, and willing to uphold justice for all. It’s time for Garland to start prioritizing American democracy over political interests and allow for a fair investigation into the Bidens’ alleged criminal activities.
