California Governor Gavin Newsom is busy cozying up with billionaire Alex Soros instead of dealing with the spiraling chaos he’s created back home. While hardworking Californians struggle to pay skyrocketing rents and endure rampant homelessness, Newsom has found the time to schmooze with global elites at fancy gatherings. It’s almost as if he’s auditioning for a new role in the Davos circuit, far away from the mess he left behind in California.
While everyday Americans are working tirelessly to make ends meet, Newsom is rubbing shoulders with billionaires, acting like a political figurehead and a complete hypocrite. Yes, this is the same governor who dared to lock down churches and arrest those defying his orders while he wined and dined at opulent restaurants during the pandemic. The nerve of him to lecture world leaders about standing up to Trump when he can’t even stand up for the basic rights of his constituents.

And what about Soros? His brand of global influence peddled through enormous funds has liberals swooning. Newsom is hailing him as a modern-day hero when most Americans see through the charade. Pairing up with Soros just demonstrates how far away Newsom is from the average American’s values – values that are grounded in freedom, self-reliance, and genuine patriotism.
Of course, the leftist media and elites are all in on the circus act, backing Newsom as they did with Kamala Harris, who also failed to resonate with the public due to her disconnect with real American issues. Newsom seems to be on the same path, trying to leap into national relevance with the help of Soros and his deep pockets.
Newsom hobnobbing with Soros might look good on social media, but surely even he knows that Californians haven’t forgotten his elitist escapades and anti-freedom policies. Let’s hope the voters see through this façade. Could Newsom really believe that a billionaire’s nod will earn him a shot at national importance after the last few years of disastrous governance?
