California Governor Gavin Newsom seems to think he can charm his way out of the truth. During a recent interview, he insisted he’s not against guns. But if you look at his actions, it’s clear he’s trying to pull the wool over our eyes.
Newsom has been on a crusade against the Second Amendment for years. Since taking office, he’s pushed nearly 70 laws to tighten control over guns. He even supported slapping an 11% tax on gun sales. His purported goal? Fund school safety and gun violence prevention. But really, this is a sneaky attempt to discourage lawful gun ownership. It’s California’s elite trying to tell the rest of us how to live.

Remember his time as mayor in 2005? Newsom backed a law to ban handguns in San Francisco; he saw every gun as a danger. Sure, the courts shot it down, but his intentions were crystal clear. As lieutenant governor, he didn’t slow down. In 2016, he was right there cheerleading for more restrictions, like strict background checks on ammo. Newsom’s always been out to disarm America.
Every election season, Democrats love to talk a good game. They wrap themselves in the flag while trying to shred our rights. They’ll say anything to win an argument or pacify an audience. But when you examine Newsom’s record, his promises crumble. He’s playing politics with our freedoms.
Banks like these with the endorsement of globalist elites only aim to disarm and control us, gradually stripping away our rights. Newsom’s anti-gun crusade is a power grab, plain and simple. How much longer will Americans have to fight for the freedoms our forefathers died to protect?
