Finally, Fox News has some good news for conservatives as Geraldo Rivera has officially parted ways with “The Five” show. Geraldo was never a favorite among viewers, and it was clear that he was not seen as essential to the show, especially after many of his appearances were canceled. He always seemed to be on Gary Busey levels of crazy, and it is a wonder that he lasted on the show given some of his political views. Like when he tried to claim that “AR” in AR-15 stood for “assault rifle,” and even went on to suggest it was a machine gun, which is a complete fabrication. How do you claim to be a journalist and get the facts so wrong?

Thankfully, it appears that Geraldo has been shown the door. Geraldo tweeted on Wednesday that he had been fired, but it is doubtful it was his decision. At this point, it is unclear if he will be taking up a new role on Fox News anytime soon or whether this is the final chapter in Geraldo’s disastrous stint with the network.
You’re a class act Geraldo. A real man of the people. https://t.co/20LOwVzXwS

Does anybody really believe President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme? Dollars to donuts it's another bogus, blowhard, pretend whistleblower.
Hint: If the person announcing a would-be criminal scheme is a partisan politician, it's a partisan political event.— Geraldo Rivera (@GeraldoRivera) May 3, 2023
Geraldo Rivera just said with a straight face on The Five that the "AR" in AR-15 stands for "Automatic Rifle." pic.twitter.com/9HPkSlfdOT

Morning, it’s official, I’m off @TheFive. My last scheduled show appearances are Thursday and Friday June 29th and 30th. It’s been a great run and I appreciate having had the opportunity. Being odd man out isn’t always easy. For the time being, I’m still Correspondent at Large.

Hopefully, this is a welcome move that will be well received by many viewers. It is time that Fox News started cleaning up its programming and bringing back conservative voices. As we all know, Fox took a substantial hit in the ratings since they parted ways with Tucker Carlson, so it is wise that they start making some more selectively beneficial reorganization moves like this, bidding farewell to the likes of Geraldo and other disappointments.
Fox News is the beacon and the voice of conservative values, and it cannot afford to have buffoons like Geraldo bringing down their reputation. Goodbye and good riddance, Geraldo.
