In Las Vegas, at an “alternate RNC” event, local Republican leaders are feeling the heat and throwing some shade at the national party. They are grumbling about the lack of support and resources from the bigwigs up top as they gear up for the 2024 elections. They’re not mincing words either. Johnson County, Kansas, Republican Chairwoman Maria Holiday is downright worried, warning that her county might turn blue if they don’t get some help. They’ve been training these state and local Republicans in everything from communications to data to digital skills. The RNC is like, “We’ve got you covered, folks!”
Now, it’s not all smooth sailing for the RNC. Some folks at the Turning Point Action’s Restoring National Confidence summit are firing shots and asking where all the tools and support are. They’re feeling like they’re in a full-on war zone. Yikes, talk about some serious drama!
Then there’s the RNC’s winter meeting, and let’s just say it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Local GOP leaders are voicing frustrations, saying that despite all the shiny programs and support from the RNC, things are still looking more like a hot mess. Waukesha County Republican Chairman Terry Dittrich is pointing at the scoreboard, saying they’ve lost 22 out of 25 statewide races. It’s like a major league losing streak, and there’s no sign of turning things around.
To add some fuel to the fire, TP Action founder and CEO Charlie Kirk is not holding back, calling the RNC’s leadership a bunch of losers. He’s even knocking on the RNC’s door, asking to team up and turn things around. But the RNC is giving the Heisman, saying they can’t legally join forces with TP Action.
