GOP Rallies for Biden Impeachment: Full Steam Ahead!

The House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (Republican from Kentucky) is feeling super confident that the House Republicans are gonna be all “heck yeah” about giving the green light for a full-on impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. He was chatting it up with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures and spilled the beans about how those middle-of-the-road GOP folks have had a total change of heart on the whole impeachment inquiry thing.

Comer was all like, “Okay, so we’ve been in Washington, D.C. for, like, forever, and there’s, like, 15 or 20 moderate Republicans who were on the fence about this whole inquiry, but guess what? Thanksgiving happened and they went back home for the first time in 10 weeks, and the folks at Walmart and on Main Street were all, ‘Um, why are the Bidens getting money from sketchy people and not paying taxes?’ And that got the moderate Republicans all fired up.”

He was all pumped up about how the moderate GOP crew is now super on board with moving forward with the impeachment inquiry because they heard it straight from the voters. Comer was like, “Yeah, we got this unity thing going on in the Republican crew about the whole impeachment inquiry, even though our group is, like, not the most united these days. But whatever, the members went home, heard from regular folks, and now they’re all jacked up about the tons of evidence we gathered. So, yeah, we’re totally gonna have the votes to go for it.”

The House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means Committees have been going full speed ahead with the impeachment inquiry and holding hearings on the topic since, like, forever. House Speaker Mike Johnson from Louisiana thinks that giving the go-ahead for an impeachment inquiry vote is like, super necessary because he feels like the Biden peeps are stalling the investigations into their business. The House Oversight Committee got, like, 35,000 pages of private financial records, 2,000 pages of Treasury Department financial reports, 36 hours of chit-chats with witnesses, and vice presidential stuff from the National Archives.

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer from Minnesota had a secret pow-wow with the House GOP crew and was all like, “Yeah, we’re probably going to vote soon to okay the impeachment inquiry into the president before we take a break on December 14th.” So, the conservative Republicans are all revved up and ready to roll on this impeachment inquiry dealio!
